WinPath3

The WinPath3 is the third generation of the flagship WinPath family from Wintegra. WinPath3 is at the heart of systems like Carrier Ethernet, Mobile Backhaul, LTE, GPON, Enterprise Access and WiMAX.  WinPath3 provides 5 times the performance of the second generation WinPath2 family and has an extensive set of interfaces supporting IP up to 10 GbE and TDM/SDH up to OC48 unchannelized or OC24 channelized.  It includes system bus interfaces including PCIe and dual SRIO plus 14 integrated SERDES.  DDR3/DDR2 and Flash memory controllers are available.    It offers up to 12 RSIC processors and 64 concurrent hardware threads processing up to 450 MHz.  Dual MIPS 34Kc cores are available running up to 650 MHz.  These Control processors can be disabled and or processing can be shared with an external processor.   Hardware accelerators have been added for packet classification, policing, shaping and security support. 

Like previous generations of devices, Wintegra offers royalty-free, carrier-grade datapath software and WDDI system software.

Reference boards are available for early customer software development as well as a reference for customer designed systems.
